Outside Sales Representative

The Outside Sales Representative will have an assigned territory, promoting and selling concrete accessories to an established customer list.
**Responsibilities**
- Increase market share by calling on a group of diverse customers to promote and sell concrete accessories. Communicate special programs and new products throughout the territory. Handle and resolve problems and complaints. Advise customers of market conditions that will have an effect on business.
- Make the appropriate number of calls on prospects versus customers. Identify potential growth areas and pursue new customers.
- Meet and exceed sales targets.
- Prepare written presentations, sales and call log reports, and price quotations.
- Conduct customer education and product information meetings. Distribute promotional material and company communications.
- Remain current with market trends and intelligence, and competitive information.
- Attend and participate in sales meetings, product seminars, and trade shows.
- Ensure customers are set to the correct price level to match their requirements.
- Intervene when required with accounts receivable issues.
- Partner with suppliers for training issues, help with product approvals, and growing product lines.
- Plan and execute according to the opportunities and activities of your territory.
- Monitor inventory levels of key products to ensure they are appropriately stocked. Work with inventory personnel to expedite sales of expired goods or dead inventory.
- Other general duties as assigned.
**Requirements**:
- Post-secondary education in sales and/or marketing, or 2-4 years of experience in the field or related area. Product knowledge or industry experience an asset.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong decision-making skills.
- Strong computer skills for managing data and report creation.
- Highly motivated, creative, and goal orientated.
- Available to travel when required.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
