Technical Sales Representative Vancouver based, Lower mainland and Vancouver Island
Vanko has grown into a leading provider for industrial analytical and instrumentation products; Non-invasive Ultrasonic Flow, Gas and liquid flow measurement, steam flow, flare measurement, gas analysis, environmental instrumentation for emissions, and various other analytical measurements. We are also experts in ambient air analysis, stack emissions monitoring for opacity, flow and all consituents. We currently have a large installed based in the territory of instrumentation, stack analysis equipment, fixed gas detection, ultrasonic flow, analytical measurements and more. This account management role will be to support the existing customer base, while establishing and developing the customer base with our entire portfolio of products and services.
As this is a technical instrumentation analytical sales role, there is some expectation that field service at client sites be performed. Training would be required to do so but some level of field experience in industrial facilities is required.
**Skills**:
- Experience with flow instrumentation, and analytical instrumentation would be a definite asset
- Dynamic personality that enjoys social situations, and networking with industry professionals
- Has the ability to prepare and present technical presentation to existing and potential customer base
- Ability to work independently in the territory, and desire to cultivate and foster business growth
- Commitment to the use of ACT CRM for scheduling, opportunities, and projects
- Work directly with Product Managers and Manufacturer Regional Managers to actively promote our products throughout the territory. Some travel expected to out of town accounts.
- Invest time into developing relationships within the territory
- Minimum 5 years experience in outside sales with a proven track record of sales, Instrumentation experience is definitely preferred.
Pay: $60,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
