We are looking for an Accounts Payable Administrator to join our Finance team, who is able to drive change and create a positive impact for employees as well as external partners. Reporting to the Manager, Accounts Payable, this individual will be responsible for maintaining Accounts Payable processes from end to end including, discrepancy resolution, bi-weekly payment runs, vendor statement reconciliations, month-end accruals, month-end close functions and ad-hoc projects.

**WHAT'S THE DAY TO DAY LIKE?**:

- Manage AP mailbox and AP workflow to obtain electronic approvals through AdobeSign.
- Communicate and coordinate accounting policies, practices and procedures with department managers, vendors and internal customers to ensure compliance.
- Review, code, and enter all supplier invoices and internal payment requests Digitally file invoices and payment records promptly
- Review, approve and upload employee corporate credit card statements submitted in SAP Concur for accuracy each month, while ensuring statements submitted are compliant with company policy.
- Ensure employee expense reports are reviewed for accuracy and uploaded to accounting software from SAP Concur and reimbursements are issued within set guidelines. Monthly reconciliation of vendor statements; identify discrepancies and ensure they are corrected/ resolved in a timely manner. Create and submit semi-monthly payment batches and monthly wire transfer payments to manager for approval.
- Respond to internal and external stakeholders inquiries in a timely and professional manner

Month/Quarter end close:
- Ensure all invoices are entered and accruals are completed and submitted by set deadline
- First review of monthly AP subledger to ensure invoices listed are valid. Make any necessary corrections/ adjustments prior to month end close.
- Quarterly review of open purchase orders in accounting system. Produce a list of POs that should be reviewed for cancelation.
- Work with Manager to design and implement AP process improvements
- Problem solve ad hoc issues that arise in the AP area
- Participating in External Audits: Ensuring all files requested are organized and readily accessible
- Complete other duties as assigned

**WE ARE HOPING YOU HAVE**:

- Completion of post-secondary education in accounting or Finance
- Minimum 3 years work experience in Accounts Payable
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel
- Strong knowledge of Google Suite
- Working knowledge of NetSuite accounting software is required
- Working knowledge of SAP Concur preferred
- Ability to work independently with mínimal direction and as part of a team with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
- Bilingualism (English and French) would be an asset
