**THE OPPORTUNITY**

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
- Represent Organic Traditions at community events, expos, and other relevant gatherings to engage with potential customers and partners.
- Participate and organize consumer outreach activities, including assistance in the marketing, planning, and execution of related projects to assist in promoting services and increasing brand awareness
- Assist in informing and bringing awareness to the brand’s community about new products, and upcoming promotional programs
- Directly engage all customers using strong relationship-building and active listening techniques to provide adequate product recommendations and guarantee customer satisfaction
- Utilize marketing and customer service techniques to achieve outreach and productivity goals
- Distribute promotional materials, samples, and information resources to event attendees.
- Assist the marketing team with mapping local communities, conducting market research, creating territory profiles, and organizing appropriate events based on the market data.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of event booths, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.
- Communicate with internal personnel at multiple levels within the organization and lead brainstorming sessions to create innovative marketing and outreach strategies, improve acquisition and closing efforts, and enhance internal training methods
- You are strongly encouraged to be creative and voice fresh, innovative ideas to improve our consumer outreach and brand awareness tactics
- Take action to discover and join local brand events, as well as charitable events in the area to reach a broader audience.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing the company at all times.

**WHO YOU ARE**
- Currently enrolled in a secondary school program, preferably studying marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field
- Passionate about health, wellness, and sustainable living
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable transportation (car) to travel to events, community outreach programs, and other locations as needed.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings to accommodate event schedules
- Prior experience with any type of community outreach, engagement or similar considered an asset

**Job Types**: Part-time, Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 4 months

**Salary**: $16.55-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
