We're looking for a **Team Lead, Billing** to join our **Billing Support** team in Canada. You will act as the glue for the Billing team. You'll be able to put a sharp eye to the test by ensuring great customer experience, supporting the local North American Sales team to surface essential information, and ensuring that service-level agreements (SLAs) related to billing inquiries are consistently met.

**What you'll be responsible for**:

- Support and coordinate all primary activities within the Billing Support team
- Provide insight and support to members of the Sales and Support departments
- Ensure the team has adequate training and support to complete their duties. Take ownership of any supporting documentation.
- Act as a point of contact for escalations related to billing and subscription inquiries both internally and externally (including outside normal hours for critical queries)
- Ensure that billing meet financial and legal requirements based on executed policies and communicate changes as required
- Review reports to monitor and boost team efficiency and streamline daily operations
- Assist in ongoing development, communication, monitoring, and delivery of service level agreement (SLA)-based metrics through quality assurance and feedback
- Consolidate feedback related to system inefficiencies and prioritize accordingly with the appropriate teams
- Handle other duties and responsibilities as defined by management

**What you'll be bringing to the team**:

- _A minimum of 1 year of informal or formal leadership experience_
- A proven track record of success using performance-based metrics
- Stellar time management and organization skills
- Perfect written and spoken English
- Fluency in French
- Remarkable communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple mandates under tight deadlines
- Obsessive attention to detail
- Recognized knack for problem-solving
- Very comfortable in technical environments
