**What you’ll do**

It is an exciting time in Marketing at Canadian Tire. We are taking our iconic brand to new heights with our Inspirational Events programs. The team is responsible for helping to drive sales growth for CTC by working collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders (internal, external, cross-functional, across banners) to build and execute promotional marketing strategies that address both business and customer needs. Join our team and you will help select products, plan omni-channel strategies, and lead customer centric initiatives to continue to grow our promotional readership and drive sales.
- You will be responsible for the planning & execution of a subset of Inspirational Guides which focus on developing brand stories to spark inspiration and drive awareness. Working cross-functionally to create themes, select products, manage forecasts, and lead creative elements.
- Additional responsibilities also include validating content during guide production, managing in season late changes, supply challenges, leading weekly and seasonal post-mortems and analyzing sales and competitor information.
- Work with internal teams on idea generation, scoping, testing, and executing strategies to keep customer data at the centre of our decision making & promotional plans.
- Responsible for select audit/reporting as well as process improvement and efficiency supporting all promotional vehicles
- Responsible for creating and execute regional promotional strategies, including test & learn and post mortems

- Effective at time management and the ability to work towards future project milestones
- Enjoy building and presenting strategic plans
- You have strong analytical skills with the ability to assimilate detailed financial information and customer data to draw conclusions and make recommendations and plans to implement
- You are passionate about our customers
- You have strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically in Access and Excel as well as Google Analytics
