Objectives

Please note, this position is currently hybrid work with a home/office program and can be based in the following cities: Montreal, Quebec or Toronto.

Specific accountabilities
Act as data steward for various Operational Key Performance Metrics (tenant sales, mall traffic, occupancy/vacancy and leasing activity) reporting processes including responsibility for the following on a monthly basis:
Ensure compliance with business rules and procedures;
Ensure accuracy of standard formulas and calculations;
Review consistency of data sets (Tenant sales categories for example) as required

Reporting on various Operational Key Performance Metrics (tenant sales, mall traffic, occupancy/vacancy and leasing activity), including responsibility for the following on a monthly basis: Prepare tenant/property KPI reports and analysis for various stakeholders:
Review results with a focus on reasonability and accuracy of data;
Consolidate operational results for client portfolio;
Provide high level variance explanations and analysis;
Provide and analyze current and historical information as required;
Contribute to quarterly presentations for JLL Senior Management and client;
Respond to ad-hoc requests for data and analysis;
Key role in supporting the Forecast and Budget processes, including support to Operations and ensuring quality assuranceResponsible for various system inputs and estimates, and ensuring reasonability, quality, and consistency for the forecast and budget processes;
Analyze the financial impacts of proposed changes to the lease plan and other business cases, as required;
Responsible for reporting on Operational Key Performance Metrics

Act as Subject Matter Expert for the creation and implementation of new reporting tools for various Operational Key Performance Metrics, including but not limited to: Expert for budget and forecast, support and train new users with these softwares;
Coordinate, manage and participate in the implementation of new systems, processes and reports to simplify processes and increase the agility of the group with a constant focus on value creation;
Create mock-ups and provide requirements to the project team;
Build reports in Excel or other similar tools to fulfill data and analysis needs;
Identify opportunities to enhance and evolve the new tools;
Responsible for implementation of tools, including testing, training, and communicating enhancements to users (and ongoing maintenance of aforementioned)

Key requirements
Bachelor degree in Business Administration (or equivalent experience);
Minimum 2-3 years experience in retail, shopping centres or real estate would be an asset;
Critically challenge the status-quo and recommend improvements;
Work in a fast-paced and evolving environment;
Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills;
Self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented and deadline-driven;
Experience producing high quality analysis for Senior Management;
Knowledge of Yardi Voyager, an asset
Proficiency in English and French (spoken and written) *Oral and/or written interactions with internal and external partners based outside Quebec (for example, service providers, law firms, peers, bankers, brokerage firms, credit analysis firms, credit agencies, etc.)
