**Role**
With a focus on improving outcomes for children and families in Alberta, you will be responsible for regulatory compliance of Child Intervention (CI) and Child Care Licensing programs through adherence to standards and quality assurance, including reports and recommendations to the Minister related to the Internal Child Death and Serious Incident Review process. You will provide strategic advice and support for litigation, as well as ensuring an effective disclosure process for all legal requests for CI records. You will oversee strategic workforce supports, such as training and programming to ensure the workforce is equipped with the knowledge, skills and competencies to effectively perform legislated tasks and duties.

You will provide support and leadership in strategic information management for the Ministry. You will lead the organizing, analyzing, representing and accessing of data, information and knowledge to improve business processes and service delivery. You will work to drive digital transformation and modernization in the department. In addition, you will measure, monitor and evaluate processes, systems, and standards to assist in the evaluation of policies, programs and service delivery, and measure performance which evaluates the effectiveness of major legislation.

Working within a collaborative environment, you are accountable for providing a range of supports that contribute to the overall effective management and operation of the department including business planning and reporting, emergency and business continuity processes, accommodations, FOIP access and records management. Your team will work effectively with partners to provide solid planning and business processes and develop solutions for improving quality of service delivery.

**Qualifications**
Your background includes significant executive leadership of program and service delivery, which may include social service programs. You bring strengths in leading regulatory oversight, quality assurance initiatives, and/or business operations in a large organization with the ability to plan and influence system change. Your experience ideally includes a combination of strategic, business and operational planning, emergency and continuity planning, accommodations, and other business processes. You have strong analytical, communications and stakeholder relations skills. A related degree is an asset.

**Salary**
$6,035.80 - $7,921.30 bi-weekly ($157,534 - $206,745 annually)
