- Be collaborative and work as one team: fostering communications in a learning, coaching, and helpful environmentStandard BioTools is looking for a motivated Global Workday HRIS Manager who as a part of the HR Systems team and will work closely with Dept HR, HR Leadership Team, Payroll, Finance, Projects and consultants to determine requirements, develop functional design and resolve defects within assigned Workday functionality. This role requires expertise in the assigned functionality and an in-depth understanding of Workday’s integrated design and touchpoints
- Essential Duties:

- Workday Administrator- Provide expert level understanding of configuration and functionality in the assigned business area(s).-
- Collaborate effectively with the functional leads to ensure requirements and functional designs are translated accurately into working technical designs-
- Work with Functional Leads to understand business process needs and propose Workday solutions-
- Collaborate with stakeholders and Workday Administrators to identify problems, provide troubleshooting, recommend solutions, and implement fixes. Ensure all issues reach resolution in a timely manner with ongoing communication-
- Prepare Workday demonstrations; provide technical support to Functional Leads during Workday demonstrations-
- Audit and assess validity of data within Workday and recommend system and/or business process changes to improve data integrity-
- Continual learning in Workday Community: for upcoming product releases; Propose and document enhancements for future use-
- Assist in the preparation, review, and execution of test plans and implementation of all Workday features/upgrades-
- Analyze existing reports and recommend new ones; create, test, and deliver reports; deprecate reports that are no longer needed. Work with stakeholders to ensure reports are available for applicable functions.-
- Cross functional collaboration with other ERP Administrators to review integration activity and impact to our business partners- Workday Expert- Provides leadership and technical guidance to HR, Finance, Budget, and IT staff; audits systems and ensures adherence to assigned functionality-
- Provides professional and technical expertise to assigned Workday functionality-
- Develops, recommends, and assists in implementing comprehensive HRIS policies and procedures; ensures HRIS processes and changes are documented for audit purposesImplement Business Process Solutions and Process Improvements- Manage and assist with new and existing HR projects from start to finish, collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives, coordinate resources, track progress and provide updates, proactively identify risks and develop contingency plans, and manage ongoing HR programs for their continued success (Open Enrollment, Performance Review, Talent review, merit cycle, new integrations etc.)-
- Work closely with business partners to understand needs/issues and how they can leverage Workday functionality to address them-
- Collaborate with Functional Leads to develop and maintain business partner procedural documentation-
- Write and coordinate Business Cases, perform requirements gathering and complete gap analysis, research technical and functional solutions-
- Pro-actively provide information to Functional Leads related to functionality changes, product enhancements, known issues or other Workday related news-
- Create business process documents, process flows, and decision-making documents-
- Partner with other Workday Administrators to analyze user-issue trends and other means to improve user performanceQualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience in implementing, configuring and managing Workday-
- Advanced problem solving, project management, relationship building, customer-driven process improvement, and technology management-
- Ability to perform in a narrow or highly specialized area that is based on extensive experience and supplemental on-the-job training rather than on formal academic education-
