**Responsibilities**
1. Sales Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies and plans to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue growth. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and develop effective sales approaches. Collaborate with our products and services teams to develop pricing strategies, and product / service positioning. The Kerridge Concrete Ltd. sales manager will help resolve complaints from customers and ensure that employees follow company policies and regulations. Sales Managers also motivate employees.
2. Team Leadership and Management: Recruit, train, motivate, and manage a high-performing sales team. Set clear performance expectations, provide ongoing coaching, and feedback, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
3. Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, promoting teamwork, professional development, and a customer-centric mindset.
**Requirements and Skills**: Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar leadership role, Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Solid understanding of sales techniques and customer relationship management.
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Proficiency in using CRM software and sales productivity tools.
Flexibility to travel as needed to coach and guide the sales team, meet with clients, and attend industry events. Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, or relevant field an asset.
**Sales Manager duties**
Some of the other duties and responsibilities that Sales Managers will need to complete in order to excel include:
- Managing employees, including sales team members
- Training new employees to use company software and successful sales techniques
- Resolving disputes between employees
- Developing new sales strategies
- Analyzing sales statistics to determine the performances of different products and salespeople
- Using software to record sales and monitor employees
- Communicating with customers, department heads, and a variety of other individuals
