Field Sales Manager

Charton Hobbs, Canada's largest privately held wine & spirits importer, is currently seeking a qualified candidate to represent our brands as Field Sales Manager (FSM) for Alberta. Potential candidates must have a passion for the beverage alcohol industry and a competitive spirit that is eager to learn and succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
Based in Calgary, the FSM works closely with the VP and Sales Manager of AB to lead and motivate the sales team in the field while establishing and developing customer relationships. The FSM will work with sales team members in both Calgary, Edmonton, and surrounding areas in the field to achieve quarterly and yearly KPI's, as well as planning and executing sales targets, managing sales team budgets and expenses, tracking, and evaluating sales targets.
Along with leading the sales team in the field the FSM will also be responsible for select high volume accounts in the province.
The Ideal Candidate Should:
Have a vehicle, valid driver's license, and passport. Availability for evening and weekend work is required. Preference will be given to candidates with industry experience and who possess:
- Bachelor's degree or Business Diploma preferred
- Supervisor/managerial experience with direct reports
- Proven skills at closing the sale.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Professional presentation and recognized ability for persuasive sales.
- Ability to analyze statistics and strong computer skills
- Goal-oriented and results-driven personality
- Ability to set and execute high standards of performance.
- Advanced organizational and planning skills; and the ability to respect tight schedules.
Base salary plus incentive bonus, commensurate with experience.
