**Job Summary**:
In this position you will lead and implement the hiring activities within the organization. From welcoming our new teammates
on the first day with onboarding, to administering health and dental benefits, and managing review schedules, you are the
connector. Your role will contain both support and leadership activities. If you love a fast-paced, ever-changing workplace,

**Duties and Responsibilities:
**Key Roles:

- Identify current and prospective staffing requirements
- Lead the hiring activities recruitment/interviewing/selection
- Complete orientation, benefits enrollment and administration, and probationary review documentation
- Co-ordinate job postings and related administration
- Liaison with and reporting for WCB
- TRF (incident) reporting
- Succession Planning
- Organization Development
- Performs organizational job planning including creation and maintenance of job descriptions, job evaluations

and classification, and comparative compensation evaluation
- Performs onboarding and orientation of newly hired and promoted employees
- Liaison with immigration consultant on SINP applicants
- Performs the research, evaluation, development, and implementation of training and development programs

requested by managers and aligned with organizational goals
- Management Rep on Occupational Health and Safety activities (in conjunction with contract safety officer)
- Manages human resource information system ie, attendance reports, training matrix,
- Consults with Managers on disciplinary and performance management matters
- Responsible for the administration and maintenance of personnel files, both physical and digital
- Set up training modules through SASM
- Setting up employees in Global Shop ERP
- Maintain employee manual
- Researching and selecting service award gifts and other incentive gifts
- Managing wages changes in a variety of file locations
- Maintain Employee Master

**Education and Qualifications**:
Resources, Industrial Relations or related degree

- CPHR designation as asset***

**Knowledge Areas and Experience**:

- Demonstrated proficiency working in a computerized environment
- Valid driver’s license
- Knowledge of human resource management principles and practices
- Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to effectively identify problems and issues
- Supervisory experience, general knowledge of organizational budgeting processes & basic accounting

principles
- Demonstrated facilitation, conflict resolution & negotiating skills
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple/competing priorities & effectively support leadership teams
- Excellent communication skills
