Giant Tiger is looking for an Information Services Support Associate

Information Systems Support Associate, Job Highlights- Provide over the phone, remote session and desk side technical support to Giant Tiger Office, DC and store employees;- Provide Network, telephony ( Digital and IP technologies ) and CCTV technical support to Giant Tiger employees and stores;-
- New user computer hardware/software setup and relocations;- Work with Technical Support Manager, and 3rd line support teams to resolve complex issues;- Assist in IT support related rollouts;- Travel to, and work from remote sites as required;
Information Systems Support Associate, Key Qualifications- Post-Secondary degree/diploma in IT Support or related discipline;-
- A minimum of (3) years of experience troubleshooting and configuring Windows 10/11, MacOS and Microsoft Office 365 products in an enterprise networked environment.- A minimum of (3) years of experience in troubleshooting and resolving Windows and Mac based computer hardware and peripheral problems in an enterprise networked environment.- Strong working knowledge of WAN and LAN technology, routers, firewalls, and security.- Experience troubleshooting VOIP / Digital enterprise phone systems.- Knowledge of mobile devices (iPhone/Android); as asset.- Knowledge of CCTV camera systems; as asset.- Experience supporting Crestron meeting room A/V technology; as asset.- Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills;- Excellent time-management and organizational skills;- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks;- Ability to work independently with limited supervision, and as part of a team;- Ability to easily learn, and work with, new and existing technologies;- Available occasionally after hours or weekends to perform off-hours work;- Flexible to carry an after hour pager in a rotation (evenings & weekends);- CCNA, CAN, A+, MCSE or ITIL certificate holder ; as asset- Bilingual (English/French);
