Deposit Administrator

We are seeking a Deposit Administrator to join our BPA team in Mississauga.
The Deposit Administrator receives payments and prepares bank deposits, all employer contributions and member self payments made to our clients’ Benefit Trust Funds and inputs deposit data from the submitted contributions reports to the systems. The Deposit Administrator reports to the Administration Manager.
**The **Deposit Administrator **will**:
- Receives contribution reports and cheques from the Employee Services Representative.
- Enters employer contributions and member self payments into either/and BPAS or AS400. Credits either employer or members’ accounts accordingly.
- Groups cheques and runs reports by plan to review deposit entries against bank deposits and ensure the amounts balance.
- Prepares monthly balancing reports, reconciling all deposits that have been recorded in the system.
- Provides monthly reports to Trust Fund Accountants for bank reconciliations.
- Maintains security and confidentiality of client records.
- Other duties as may be assigned by Management.
- Reports directly to Administration Manager.
- Communicates with other departments and managers/supervisors.
**To be successful as a **Deposit Administrator **with BPA, you will need**:
- 1 - 2 years’ Accounts Receivable experience.
- Secondary School Graduation Diploma
- Demonstrated mathematical aptitude
- High level of attention to detail
- AS400 knowledge
- Fast, accurate data entry skills.
- Knowledge of financial records and systems with demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data.
- Accounting experience relevant to the duties and accountabilities of the position.
- PC proficient with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word skills essential).
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
