About You:
We’re looking for an individual with a drive to be the best: a brilliant communicator, influencer, and collaborator with a focus on people and integrity. You are highly organized and have a proven background in managing all aspects of payroll within a unionized environment.

Function:
As HRC/Site Admin, you will be supporting the Site Director and working in line with the Human Resources Business Partner. You will interact daily with management and employees to maintain lines of communication, identify and address issues, needs, or concerns as they arise.

About the Role:

- Partner with Site Director, Human Resources and other respective teams to research and resolve employee matters
- Payroll processing using TCP (TimeClockPlus) within a unionized environment is a weekly activity
- Maintaining physical and digital personnel records like employment contracts and updating training matrix
- New Hire Orientation, including updating internal databases with new hire information
- Create and distribute guidelines and FAQ documents about company policies, updating monthly communications and compliance activities
- Create, post, and remove internal job postings
- Prepare reports and presentations on site and/or HR-related metrics, site calendar, monthly meetings and townhalls
- Maintenance of various reports including KPIs, Attendance Management, Labour Hours
- Develop and deliver training and onboarding material
- Respond to employees’ questions about benefits
- Other duties as assigned

Experience required/Skills/Capabilities
- This could be right for you if you have 3+ years of demonstrable experience in HR roles including complex payroll processing within a unionized environment, advanced knowledge of excel and office programs, advanced communication skills and are results oriented. You will have a proven ability to interact confidentially and effectively within all levels of stakeholders both internally and externally
- College Degree/Diploma/Certification in Administration or Human Resources
- CPHR Designation or working towards certification is desired
