**THE OPPORTUNITY**

For over 22 years, Vancouver Orphan Kitten Rescue Association (VOKRA) has been on a mission to end cat overpopulation and homelessness. We rescue, care for, and find homes for over 1,400 cats each year. With 400+ volunteers and a small group of employees, we are looking for individuals to join our People and Culture Committee to develop and support people practices in the organization.

**WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING**

Attend People and Culture Committee meetings once per month (virtual) and work on a variety of tasks (remotely) in between meetings related to:

- Employee and Volunteer Experience
- Learning and Development
- Recruitment and Onboarding
- Performance Management
- Policies and Compliance
- Organizational Structure

**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**
- Post-secondary education and/or experience in Human Resources or a related field
- Team-oriented and collaborative
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Passionate and eager to make a significant impact
- Willingness to take initiative and suggest creative solutions
