**Volunteer and Events Coordinator Job Description**
Do you have a passion for volunteer-driven programs, a belief in the power of literacy and the desire to play a significant role in the continued growth of an organization? ONE TO ONE is seeking a dynamic and energetic Volunteer and Events Coordinator _to ensure ONE TO ONE tutors have an excellent volunteer experience and our community is connected._
This position presents an exciting opportunity to grow with an established but evolving non-profit and to support a powerful mission. Every year, ONE TO ONE pairs emerging readers with volunteer tutors in elementary schools or online around the province. For half an hour, once a week, these students work on their reading in an environment where it’s okay to take risks, make mistakes and learn at their own pace. Volunteer tutors are central to reaching young readers across the province. Through ONE TO ONE connections, we help children develop literacy skills to last a lifetime.
