**Role Profile**

This role would support three main areas of focus within the Marketing and Communications team overall:

- Marketing Focus - participate in the development of program and promotional materials, and the execution of marketing campaigns and events.
- Digital Focus - support web development, updates, and social media campaigns, including monitoring March of Dimes Canada’s (MODC) presence on social media sites.
- Communications Focus - support the development of strategic and community-focused communication materials, including program
- and service-related products, press releases, media advisories, newsletters, and donor stewardship campaigns.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting the team in planning and executing marketing and promotional activities (e.g. social media, direct marketing, and web).
- Assisting in the preparation and review of communications products such as media advisories and newsletters, as well as the development of key messages
- Helping to distribute marketing materials, including branded items.
- Completing clerical and administrative duties.
- Performing analysis on data from marketing campaigns.
- Providing insights through research conclusions drawn from data analysis.
- Contributing fresh ideas and content.
- Handling inbound requests.

**Qualifications**:

- Currently completing or recently completed a marketing and/or communications focused Bachelors degree or college program
- Exceptional communication skills and writing skills
- Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Ability to work in a team or independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

**Salary: $17.55 per hour**

- have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.
- Note: International students are not eligible participants.
- This position will have a hybrid work arrangement, with a combination of working remotely and in-person at our National Office in 885 Don Mills Road, Toronto
