**Overview**:
The System Administrator will be responsible for the administration and operation of all servers and systems within Glentel operations. This individual will report to the Information Systems Manager. This individual will help define sustainable processes to administer and operate all servers while maintaining all control and compliance requirements.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maximizing the availability of all systems, both on site and off
- All systems are properly documented, updated, maintained and timely backups and recovery of all systems
- Ad hoc operational reports
- Implementations, upgrades and decommissioning
- Maintaining the catalogue of all systems and services
- Mentoring and supporting junior staff by helping define sustainable processes, quality assurance programs, oversight and Operational Support
- Tier 3 user support for all Head Office staff
- Provide Junior staff with tasks, direction, and support
- Follow up with employees from other departments to triage requests and implementations

**Workload**:

- 35% - Support, Server and System Administration
- 35% - Process Management & Mentoring
- 30% - Documentation & Administrative Report

**Qualifications**:
Prior experience with:

- Change Management
- Hardware and software support
- Supervising, leading, and mentoring staff
- Process reengineering.
- Ability to work on multiple simultaneous projects.
- Compliance & Control Models ( PCI-DSS, SOC ).
- Prioritizing security measures to protect against cyber threats and vulnerabilities.

Technical Requirements
Technical experience is required with exposure to minimum 5 of the following:

- Microsoft Server Administration & deployment in a Hyper-V virtual environment.
- Provision, monitor, and maintain Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Services, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, and other Azure services.
- Software and operating system deployments via centralized management tools (SCCM, Smart Deploy, WSUS, PDQ)
- Manage, monitor, and maintain backup and disaster recovery services (Datto BCDR)
- Manage and maintain the Office 365 environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams, and other Office 365 services.
- Maintenance of data center infrastructure and equipment.
- SQL Server
- Sophos Central threat management
- Compliance & Control Models
- ERP & Financial Systems (D365)
