**POSITION OVERVIEW**

The Inventory and Pricing Analyst will play a critical role in optimizing inventory levels and pricing strategies to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction. This position will be responsible for analyzing inventory data, monitoring pricing trends, and developing strategies to ensure optimal inventory levels and pricing structures.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Analyze inventory levels and trends to optimize stocking levels and minimize excess inventory.
- Develop and maintain inventory forecasting models to ensure accurate demand planning.
- Collaborate with purchasing and logistics teams to coordinate inventory replenishment and allocation.
- Monitor pricing trends and competitive landscape to recommend pricing adjustments.
- Conduct pricing analysis to identify opportunities for margin improvement.
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop pricing strategies that align with business objectives.
- Maintain pricing databases and ensure accuracy of pricing information across systems.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate inventory and pricing analysis findings to management.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance inventory management and pricing practices.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in inventory management and pricing strategy.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, supply chain management, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in inventory management, pricing analysis, or related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with inventory management software or ERP systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of distribution industry practices and trends is preferred.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
