**Job Duties**: Provide assistant to main event lead
**Job Type**: Part-Time, Mostly Weekends and Evenings (Potential for Full-Time). Starting with 6 - 12 hours a week.
**Compensation**: $16.55/hr

**Responsibilities**:
- This position is to strictly provide assistant to the main event lead
- Transport, set up, and dismantle photo booth equipment at various event locations.
- Ensure the photo booth operates smoothly throughout the event.
- Engage with guests to ensure they have a fun experience.
- Troubleshoot any technical issues on-site.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Work independently and manage your time effectively.
**Requirements**:
- Legally authorized to work in Canada long term. **This job is not available for sponsorship**.
- **Must live in Hamilton, ON**:
- Tag along the main event lead to various venues, anywhere within 2 hours driving distance one way from Hamilton, ON. The main event lead will be driving.
- Available to work weekends and late nights (sometimes may be as late as 2am to reach home), with occasional weekday evening events.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Technical aptitude and ability to handle equipment.
- Physical ability to lift and move equipment (lift 20 - 30kg for a minute or two each shift).
- Punctual, reliable, and detail-oriented.
**Schedule**:
- 1 shift each weekend, leading to more shifts as needed.
- Flexible part-time means if you are unavailable, there will not be a penalty. However, if you accept the shift, you must make it. (imagine canceling on someone's wedding)
- Each shift is approximately 6-10 hours depending on the events. Minimum 6 hours/shift
- Some weekday evenings, depending on your availability.
- Hours are not guaranteed, very rarely, some weeks may be 0 hours of shift. Hence, without pay. (very rarely. disclosing this for full transparency)
**Travel**:
- This position requires travel 100% of the time. The main event lead who lives in Hamilton, will have the car.
- Client location can be banquet hall, church, public venue, or client house. Must be comfortable working independently.
- Our service area is within a 2-hour driving distance (one way) from Hamilton, ON.
**Traits we are looking for**:
- Responsible and reliable. Have sense of responsibility. Our industry has extremely low tolerance of last minute no show, as events we serve are once in a life time event like marriage and wedding anniversaries.
- Punctuality
- Customer service experience. Smile We are "party maker"
- Comfortable to engage with guests on events (no sales we need you to ask them to come have fun at our station no cost to them)
- Calm and able to troubleshoot technology,
- Physically able to lift 20kg of equipment for a maximum of 2 minutes each shift. Occasionally need to carry up the stair depending on clients' venue.

**Important Note**:
We are looking for **highly responsible and reliable individuals** only. Our service is catered to weddings and many once-in-a-lifetime events. Last-minute notice of unavailability will significantly disrupt our operations and is strictly discouraged.
