Maintenance and Customer Service Associate

This is an exciting opportunity to join the City of Hamilton as a Maintenance and Customer Service Associate.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated individual to provide maintenance and customer service support in our residential building. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the overall upkeep and security of the building, including performing daily inspections, maintaining fire safety systems, and providing assistance to tenants.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, contractors, and emergency personnel
- Maintain the building's facilities, including performing minor repairs and addressing maintenance issues
- Ensure the security and safety of the building, including monitoring fire alarm systems and responding to emergencies
- Show apartments to prospective tenants and conduct building openings and lock-ups
- Deliver letters, notices, or forms to tenants as required
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A combination of education and relevant work experience in maintenance and customer service
- The ability to work with minimal supervision and take initiative to address issues
- Good written and verbal communication skills to interact with tenants, contractors, and emergency personnel
- Must be able to speak, write, and understand English
- An understanding of basic emergency procedures, such as fire alarms
- Physical ability to carry out light housekeeping duties and perform minor repairs
As a member of our team, you can expect:
- A competitive salary estimated at $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience

Please note that this is a full-time position requiring a live-in arrangement within the building. You will be expected to remain on premises at all times while on assigned duty and provide shared coverage with other Building Attendants as assigned by the Property Manager.
