**The Role**:
As one of the leaders in the company’s business as a **Maintenance Supervisor**, you will utilize your extensive industry knowledge, experience, and network to manage along with lead the overall aspects of the business.
**Duties and Responsibilities include and not limited to**:
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Train and conduct routine on-site training, direct, supervise, and motivate the activities of subcontractors and employees
- Plan, organize, direct, execute the daily plan and operations
- Adhere to weekly schedule
- Manage daily operations of all maintenance activities and any upcoming technical growth
- Cover manpower when required
- Complete all required paperwork properly and within set timelines
- Ensure employees are completing all paperwork to company standards
- Safely operate and maintain company assigned vehicles
- Assist fleet management as required
- Assist in ensuring appropriate permits, best practices and occupational health and safety regulations are being met
- Enforce policies and procedures for quality and to ensure work safety requirements are met
- Represent company on matters such as business services, contracts and projects that will be executed and completed to the customers satisfaction
- Ability to manage multitasking multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines
- Responsibility for confidential information including wages, disciplinary actions, and project resources
- Follow and adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Engage in all training requirements required by the Company
- Meet Key Performance Indicators and outlined targets as issued by the Company
- Additional duties and/or responsibilities will be assigned as required
**Job Requirements**:
- Valid Ontario Class “G” Driver’s Licence
- Driver’s abstract clear of serious offences under the Highway Traffic Act
- Working at various heights and ladder safety
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs unassisted
- Punctuality, flexibility, and reliable
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication coupled with excellent customer service skills
- Highest commitment to safety; ensuring safe work practice and procedures are followed
- Knowledge of computer, phones, tablets for working productivity and efficiency
- Knowledge of Outside Cable Plants is required
**Knowledge, Experience, and Skills Requirements**:
- Minimum 3 years in a comparable role, preferably telecommunications/ construction
- Preferred experience in training, leading, and managing, teams is required
- Highly adept with reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and drawings
**Working Conditions**:
- Availability to make effective decisions and/or respond to changes/interruptions outside of normal working hours and/or conditions
- Capable of performing strenuous physical labour when required
- Ability to navigate around and on sites
- Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending at varied intervals
- Outdoor working environment: ability to work in all weather conditions
- Travelling to various sites may be required
