**RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC**
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. **Position summary**
As a member of our team, you will have the pride to work in one of the largest research centers in Canada and your contribution will support important biomedical research.

The HR Summer worker will be responsible to manage the Canada Summer Job program in addition to supporting the daily activities and Talent Acquisition initiatives.

**General Duties**
- Coordinate and manage the Canada Summer Jobs governmental grant program (includes submission of information on the Government portal in compliance with the projects’ deadlines and requirements, efficiently and effectively track each project, validate documents and communicate with researchers, employees etc.),
- Support the HR Service Centre (employee file management, work attestations etc.),
- Assist with the management of volunteers and their access requests,
- Enters training data in our Payroll system for the Law 90,
- Responsible to do the annual work permit validation and professional membership validation,
- Support the Talent Acquisition Advisors with daily activities and follow-ups and continuous improvement initiatives,
- More mandates could be added according to context.

**Required Skills**:

- Excellent French and English, spoken and written,
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
- Ability to work independently or with teams with minimum supervision,
- Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite,
- Excellent customer service,
- Dynamic and versatile with a sense of autonomy,
- Excellent time and priority management skills,
- Professional and attention to detail,
- Excellent interpersonal skills and good team spirit.

**Additional information**

**Status** : Temporary Full-Time (35-hour workweek)4-month mandate, from April to August 2023.

Could start on a part-time basis for the first few weeks.

**Pay Scale**: $21.21/h to $25.79/h Commensurate with education & work experience

**Work Shift**: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

**Work Site**: Remote
