**2 - Full Time ‑ Manager(s) Diagnostic Imaging**
**Diagnostic Imaging Administration**
Reporting to the Vice President, Operations, Clinical and Support Services and Chief Financial Officer, the Manager
of Diagnostic Imaging is responsible and accountable for the daily operations and clinical practice within Diagnostic
Imaging, from a combination of modalities within CT, PET/CT, General and Interventional Radiology, MRI, Nuclear
Medicine, Mammography, Ultrasound, the Diagnostic Imaging Recovery Area, nursing resources and clerical
support. The Manager will provide leadership and oversight while creating an environment that fosters creativity,
innovation and excellence in patient care. The Manager will also ensure all aspects of quality and safety are adhered
to in the department.

the delivery of safe, quality patient care is their guiding principle. The Manager will base their decisions on the
mission, vision and values of TBRHSC, the principals of the Patient andFamily Centered Care, inter‑professional
collaboration, the standards of practice for all applicable regulatory bodies and TBRHSC policies, procedures and
standards.
**Qualifications**
**Education**:
- Bachelor's degree (Health Related) e.g. Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Health Administration and/or equivalent
experience
**Experience**:
- Current license with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) and
registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT), Sonography Canada or the
Ontario Association of Medical Radiation Sciences (OAMRS) is preferred;
- Minimum five years experience in a medical imaging related field (e.g. Medical Radiation Sciences/Technology)
- Equivalent combination of other experience and education may be considered that is inclusive of knowledge of
diagnostic imaging procedures, policies, services and equipment for multiple modalities to ensure regulatory, quality,
safety and accreditation standards are being met
- Demonstrated experience in program/service planning and development and change management
- Minimum five (5) years of leadership experience at Charge or Management level
**Skills**:
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to establish credibility and rapport with
Diagnostic Services staff and throughout the Health Sciences Centre
- Proficiency in computer programs essential to the Diagnostic Imaging environment: Meditech, PACS, Microsoft
(Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio), Occupational Health & Safety Management Reporting and Safety Reporting
Knowledge:
Demonstrated knowledge of:
- Current Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT and DMS) professional standards of practice
- Public Hospital Act and relevant Privacy and Quality Acts (PHIPA, QCIPA)
- Accreditation Canada Diagnostic Imaging standards
- Occupational Health and Safety Act
- MIS workload guidelines and OHIP billing schedules
- Union Collective Agreements
- Radiation Safety Guidelines
- Risk Management
Salary Range: $57.003 to 67.062
