**Weaver, Simmons LLP** is seeking a dedicated **Litigation Legal Assistant** to join our Sudbury office. In this role, you will work closely with a Litigation Lawyer whose primary practice is **Civil Litigation, including personal injury and insurance law. **You will assist in various aspects of the legal process to provide exceptional support to our clients.

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Correspond with clients and other law offices as needed and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, trial records, and transcription of reports related to examinations for discoveries.
- Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and court dates.
- Handle the opening and closing of files, maintaining organized and up-to-date records.
- Provide clerical support, assisting with administrative tasks as required.
- Prepare affidavits of documents and compile and serve materials.
- Accurately prepare client invoices and accounts.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support the legal team.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:

- A background in legal studies or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software.
- Maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (bilingual proficiency is an asset but not required).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under deadlines.
- High level of reliability and precision in work.
- Exceptionally organized, ensuring streamlined work processes.
- Demonstrate initiative and work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
