Reporting to the Director, Marketing & Communication, Office Canada the Marketing and Customer Engagement Manager will be responsible for all marketing, communications and event strategy, planning, management, and execution for the Vancouver office portfolio. The diverse and exciting portfolio totals 4 million square feet and includes assets The Post, Park Place, Commerce Place, 745 Thurlow and Broadway Tech Centre.

The Marketing and Customer Engagement Manager will work with the property teams and other members of the National Office team in the execution of marketing & communication strategies designed to elevate the QuadReal brand, drive consistency in how we engage with our Customers and community and ultimately provide a best-in-class experience for those who work at or visit a QuadReal office property.
- Responsibilities
- Influence the QuadReal Experience standards for the Vancouver Office portfolio, implementing the standards and working with the property teams to ensure the standards are maintained
- Support the management and promotion of amenity offering across the portfolio
- Provide an annual marketing and events budget for each property, reporting quarterly on any variances
- Create and execute an annual marketing calendar of events and programs that provides a rich experience for our customers
- Partner with property teams to deliver a customer appreciation programs that starts from when we welcome new customers to our properties, provides ways in which we can continuously appreciate customers and personifies “Excellence Lives Here”
- Emphasize retail offerings as an amenity at each property by establishing partnerships with retailers and neighbouring businesses to deliver an elevated customer experience
- Arrange photography as required for the buildings and/or events
- Collaborate regularly with counterparts across regions
- Remain up to date on trends in the commercial real estate and hospitality industry, always looking for ways in which QuadReal can elevate the experience we offer our customers
- Explore opportunities for pop-up programs or special events that will enhance the experience for customers and potentially generate revenue
- Other duties as assigned
- Education and Qualifications:

- Post-secondary education in communications, marketing, or other related field; including solid understanding of a variety of software
- Five years’ experience in a marketing and communications capacity
- Event management experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate to various audiences in a clear and concise manner
- Advanced in Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, Power Point
- Strong initiative and interpersonal skills to execute change
- Experience with Graphic Arts software (Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
- Advanced in Adobe Creative Suite - InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
- Ability to work effectively across multiple departmental lines
- Excellent project management, market research, strategic planning, and budget management skills
- Ability to prioritize workload and handle competing priorities and deadlines
- Self-starter with the ability to independently start and complete projects and anticipate next steps
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with an ability to work well in a fast paced, high profile environment
- Highly motivated with the ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment
