**Who We’re Looking For**:
**What You’ll Be Doing**:
As a Fire Protection Design Coordinator, your responsibilities would include, but not be limited to the following:

- Work closely with Operations Manager to align design coordination efforts with operational objectives, contributing to the overall success of project delivery activities.
- Schedule and prepare technical documents, including hydrant flow test reports and other project-specific documentation, to support design processes and project requirements.
- Coordinate and schedule site surveys and field reviews with Field Technicians, ensuring thorough data collection and accurate documentation to inform the design process.
- Manage the gathering, organization, and filing of project documents from clients in accordance with NSD's Standard Operating Procedures, maintaining compliance and integrity of project records.
- Ensure strict adherence to established protocols, procedures, and quality standards to uphold consistency and reliability in design coordination practices.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the VP of Administration.

**What You’ll Need In Your Toolkit**:

- 3+ years experience in scheduling.
- Experience as an office admin.
- Self-motivated with a great work ethic.
- Contribute to a positive work culture by displaying company values.
- Detail oriented with great organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to clearly communicate, in writing and verbally, with all project stakeholders; and
- Ability to prioritize, meet project deadlines and problem solve efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong experience with Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook);
- Ability to read codes, technical specifications and building construction drawings including fire protection, architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical is a strong asset.
- Experience in the fire protection construction industry is an asset.
