**about this team**:
The Global Procurement team are trusted business advisors who strategically partner with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to create value and mitigate risk in strategic non-product purchases for the global organization. The team supports the business in increasing its profitability and return on investment by creating value in our indirect supply chain through strategic & stakeholder-centric procurement. From providing category expertise, market insights, cost savings opportunities, supplier performance and relationship management & developing short and long-term strategies, the Global Procurement team plays a key role in value delivery for our business.

**a day in the life**:
The Director, Marketing & Corporate Services Procurement supports stakeholders across these key business areas in meeting their business goals and objectives. In partnership with business stakeholders, they are responsible for the development, implementation, management, and performance of sourcing strategies. The Director, Marketing & Corporate Services Procurement is also responsible for the development, presentation, and implementation of innovative sourcing levers to drive value delivery.

**what you’ll do**:

- Lead Category strategy development & implementation for Marketing and Corporate Services
- Lead and develop team members, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration within the procurement team, leading by example and empowering team members to excel in their roles
- Support annual productivity improvements in each category of spend by developing and ensuring implementation of ideas to optimize total cost of ownership (TCO) for spend categories, along with contributing to the delivery of our IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Action) and Sustainability mandates
- Bring sourcing efficiency to all activity; define specific roadmaps containing prioritization of sourcing categories and events
- Build strategic partnerships with internal business leaders to increase Procurement awareness and reach
- Drive and execute an equitable and inclusive procurement process

**qualifications**:

- Required: Bachelor’s degree
- Preferred: MBA, SCMP or equivalent professional designation
- 10+ years Procurement experience
- 5+ years Procurement experience in the Marketing and Corporate Services category
- Leadership and Team Development: Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead and develop a team effectively. This includes mentoring team members, providing guidance, and fostering a collaborative and continuous improvement work environment.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and develop innovative sourcing strategies to drive value delivery. This involves aligning procurement activities with business goals and objectives, as well as anticipating future needs and trends in the industry.
- Stakeholder Management: Strong relationship-building skills with a proven track record of being able to establish and maintain strategic partnerships with internal business leaders on a global scale. This includes effectively communicating procurement objectives, engaging stakeholders in the procurement process, and ensuring alignment with business priorities.
