**Purpose of the role**:
As the Systems enablement specialist, you will improve Lightspeed's sales productivity and deal flow by providing training, technical expertise, and recommendations for improvement in GTM (go to market) systems flows and processes.

You will collaborate with Sales, Information Systems, GTM Ops and IT to ensure that existing processes and flows are clear, effective, and appropriately documented. You will validate that training materials and resources available are useful, understood, and applied by GTM teams to the best of their abilities. You will work as part of the wider Sales Enablement team who are also responsible for supporting our teams in achieving sales quotas.

**Role**:

- Be one of the main sales system's points of contact for Lightspeed's sales teams;
- Proactively learn the functionality required to address sales rep requirements within common systems to identify and assess met and unmet needs, and recommend optimum solutions and support;
- Collaborate with GTM Ops/Support on documentation of system use throughout the sales process, and alert the sales teams to changes or releases;
- You will put sales reps at ease by ensuring system processes are easy to understand and apply. You will provide advice and coaching to those who are uncomfortable or require guidance.
- You will collaborate on analyses of existing and potential systems in order to determine such things as current use, current mastery, cost comparisons, functionality comparisons, and to review potential net new innovation systems and tools
- You will create sales-focused resources to highlight what each system does, why we use it, and how each role can familiarize themselves with it in line with best practices
- Handle other duties and responsibilities as defined by management.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a Sales Engineer, Pre Sales or Technical Consultant role in a SaaS environment
- Previous experience as a trainer or tutor, with technical easy or savvy
- Previous experience within IT or IS
- Demonstrated written communication skills and presentation experience
- Excellent communication skills including experience speaking to technical and business audiences
- Strong understanding of Cloud SaaS ecosystem technologies
