**The Role**:
We are looking for an experienced Sales Executive to join our team. This individual will create an initial impact by driving revenue in a full sales cycle role - from building pipeline to closing new deals - while charting their path into sales leadership. They will work with various buyers in the municipal government space, so experience selling to this demographic is strongly preferred.

They will be supported by and manage a Business Development (BDR) team responsible for prospecting and qualifying opportunities. This individual will also create their own opportunities to ensure pipeline acceleration and quota achievement.

Most importantly, this individual will have the opportunity to lead and reimagine the sales function at Go Evo by leveraging their experience and expertise. This role is not just a job; it's a career accelerator. As a key player, they will have the chance to shape the future of our sales team and propel their career into leadership, representing a massive growth opportunity for the right person.

**How You'll Make a Difference**:

- Exceed revenue targets by first assessing and managing an existing pipeline of opportunity at various stages of probability.
- Develop structured account plans outlining key activities, milestones, and objectives for engagement.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders through consultative selling techniques.
- Have a deep understanding of our clients, their challenges, and their processes.
- Lead and orchestrate the entire sales journey from opportunity to close and drive net new revenue for the business.
- Clearly articulate and demonstrate our value proposition, creating excitement and enthusiasm among prospects.
- Develop a high level of product expertise and be able to translate pain resolution through product demonstration.
- Mentor and manage Business Development Representatives (BDR) to ensure their mutual success.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement client-specific strategies and solutions that leverage external insights.
- Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, competitive landscape, and market opportunities.
- Shape and influence the Sales function, including but not limited to developing sales strategies, improving sales processes, establishing sales targets, designing commission structures, etc.

**What Sets You Apart**:

- 3+ years of relationship-building experience in a consultative sales environment, preferably within municipal SaaS sales.
- A clear desire to lead and advance your sales career.
- Demonstrated success in repeatedly achieving sales goals, from prospecting to closing.
- Proven business development and account management experience.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- Extensive industry knowledge, contacts and networks.
- Ability to create quick, meaningful rapport with stakeholders across all levels.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment and isn't afraid of ambiguity.
- Possesses a growth mindset and is forward-thinking in your ability to close deals.
- Results-driven with strong initiative and ability to work independently and as a team.
- Confidently analyzes numbers for insights and opportunities to inform decision-making.
- Creative, resourceful, detail-oriented, and highly organized.

- Exceptional time-management skills and ruthless prioritization.
- Demonstrates a high degree of accountability and ownership for all responsibilities.
- Sales technology experience (i.e. Salesforce, Gong.io, etc.) and are motivated by leveraging technology to your advantage.

**Compensation**: $70K base, $70K commission = $140K OTE
