Cocotte Bistro is a refined yet casual take on an authentic French bistro, with a distinctly National Capital lens featuring a classic yet contemporary approach to French bistro cuisine. Cocotte Bistro will also bet on bubbles by the glass, thoughtfully sourced ingredients, social hour specials and sharing items prepared and served en cocotte.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Qualify and respond to general sales inquiries
- Ability to assist in closing sales contracts
- Effective management of activities/bookings to assist in achieving hotel revenue targets
- Solicit from and confirm with client all information pertaining to the event and organize and distribute all information to relevant departments. Effectively communicate all changes in a timely manner
- Check occupied meeting space daily and meet w/ group convenors
- Be available to assist client while on-site at appropriate times (some evening and weekends are required). Must be flexible to accommodate irregular or extended hours
- Send post-event surveys to client and conduct follow-up
- Ensures that all sales and catering contracts entered by the sales and catering department with clients are communicated to all departments within set time frame
- Work closely with the Front Desk, Reservations, F&B and other required departments to completely satisfy the requirements of the booking parties
- Conduct hotel site inspections to potential clients
- Produce banquet checks on daily basis
- Prepare a weekly and a daily function sheet (send copy to all departments)
- Produce the PACE reports on a weekly basis
- Assist with planning & executing internal events
- Attend Weekly Sales Meetings & prepare and distribute minutes
- Office Administrative Duties
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
- 1-to-3-year experience in hotel catering services or sales
- Bilingual (French and English) required
- Experience with Opera/Opera Cloud, an asset
- Must have ability to work under mínimal supervision and with priority deadlines and maintain a positive attitude within a busy environment
- Knowledge of food and beverage an asset
- Computer literacy required
- Organized and detail oriented
