We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to join our team at the Tourism Industry Association of Ontario. As a Sales Coordinator, you will provide administrative support to our Business Events and Major Events teams, assisting with data entry, bid book preparation, and site inspection coordination.
Key Responsibilities- Assist Sales Managers with inputting and maintaining all accounts and opportunities through a customer relationship management system.
- Support the Sales Managers in various areas such as data entry, bid book preparation, and site inspection/coordination.
- Conduct event and familiarization tours.
- Support the preparation for industry events such as trade shows, client servicing.
- Respond to member and client inquiries (written and on the phone).
- Liaise with other departments as required.
- 1 year of related experience.
- Degree or diploma in a business, hospitality, sales, or marketing-related field.
- Strong customer service focus.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Proficiency in all aspects of Microsoft Office 365.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in using database/CRM software, and some back-end web capabilities.
- Bilingual in both of Canada's official languages.
- Experience working in tourism, hospitality, or destination management/marketing.
- Experience with group booking and/or customer relations management system.
- Experience with event planning.
- Experience working with members.
- Project management background.
