Principales responsabilités:
Les responsabilités du chef de piste sont les suivantes Diriger une équipe, décharger et charger des bagages, du fret et des marchandises à bord d'un avion commercial et à l'extérieur de celui-ci. Conduire et utiliser des équipements spécialisés et des véhicules commerciaux. Le poste exige de soulever des charges lourdes, de pousser, de tirer, de se pencher et de s'étirer.
Tâches et responsabilités essentielles:
Déplacer le fret et les bagages à bord et à l'extérieur des avions et les transporter entre les avions, les terminaux d'aéroport, les installations de fret aérien et d'autres avions.
Utiliser des équipements motorisés.
Lire et interpréter les instructions de chargement de poids et de balance des aéronefs, les étiquettes d'identification des matières dangereuses, les manifestes de chargement des aéronefs et les étiquettes d'acheminement des bagages et du fret.
Superviser une équipe de 3 à 5 agents.
Avant les vols, il informe l'équipage sur le chargement des bagages, les positions à prendre et le déroulement du vol.
Il est responsable de la sécurité du refoulement et de la communication avec l'équipage pendant le refoulement.
Il est responsable de toutes les formalités administratives de l'équipage de conduite et de l'équipe de la porte d'embarquement avant et après le départ.
Superviser toutes les opérations à la porte d'embarquement/au vol.
D'autres tâches lui sont confiées.
Compétences requises:
Il faut être âgé d'au moins 18 ans et être en mesure de travailler légalement au Canada ;
Doit être titulaire d'un diplôme d'études secondaires, d'un GED ou d'une expérience professionnelle équivalente ;
Être capable de parler, de lire et d'écrire en anglais ;
Permis de conduire valide avec un bon dossier de conduite ; doit être en mesure de passer la formation DA.
Il doit être en mesure de détenir et de conserver toutes les autorisations de sécurité aéroportuaires requises.
Fiabilité : nos clients et vos collègues comptent sur vous.
Capable de soulever confortablement 70 livres ;
Une expérience préalable de l'aire de trafic est un plus ;
Vous devez être disponible et flexible pour travailler en horaires variables, y compris les week-ends et les jours fériés ;
Vous devez être à l'aise dans toutes les conditions météorologiques, le travail s'effectuant principalement à l'extérieur.

**Main Accountabilities**:
The Ramp Leads accountabilities include Leading a team, unloading and loading of luggage, freight and cargo on and off commercial aircraft. Driving and operating specialized equipment and commercial vehicles. Position requires: heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and stretching.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Move cargo and baggage on and off aircraft and transport it between aircraft, airport terminals, air cargo facilities, and other aircraft.
- Operate motorized equipment.
- Read and interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous material identification labels, aircraft loading manifests, and baggage and cargo routing tags.
- Oversees a crew of 3-5 agents.
- Briefs crew before flights on bag loads, positions to take and how flight will work.
- Responsible for safe push back and communications with the flight crew during push back.
- Responsible for all flight crew/gate crew paperwork before and after departure.
- Oversees all operations at their gate/flight.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Required Skills**:
- Must be at least 18 years of age and legally able to work in Canada;
- Must have high school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience;
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in English;
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record; must be able to pass DA training.
- Must be able to hold and maintain all required airport security clearance.
- Reliability, our customer and your fellow employees rely on you.
- Capable of lifting comfortably 70 lbs;
- Prior ramp experience a plus;
- Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays;
- Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions, work is primarily outdoors.
