**Position Details**:
**What You Will Do**
The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for the acquisition, development and retention of talent. In addition, the incumbent will assist with the day-to-day administration of HR activities, support HR projects and be the first point of contact for employees via HR mailbox and other HR tasks. This role is a full-time temporary 12 month contract.
- Effectively manage full cycle recruitment while working closely with internal stakeholders
- Demonstrate professional direction when engaged with confidential and sensitive information
- Coordinate all new hire paperwork (background check, onboarding documents, etc.)
- Assist with the day-to-day administration of HR activities, including employment offer letters, contracts, employment verification letters, and reports
- Participate and support HR projects
- The first point of contact for employee and other HR tasks as required
**Who You Are**
- 1-4 years of talent acquisition experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, or related field
- Ability to work autonomously and own/drive projects from start to finish
- Savvy communicator with strong relationship management skills
- Comfort with ambiguity, change, and a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in MS Office and HRIS software
