About the Role



This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Human Resources professional to join our team at Amcor. As a Human Resources Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day HR functions, ensuring seamless employee experiences and fostering a positive work environment.



Responsibilities




  • Process bi-weekly hourly/salaried payroll of 200+ employees accurately and timely;
  • Manage weekly timesheets of temporary employees;
  • Maintain HRIS system, including employee status changes, demographics, positions, salaries, new hires, promotions, transfers, terminations, and inactive employees;
  • Record and maintain employee records;
  • Oversee full cycle recruitment, new employee orientation, and onboarding;
  • Administer benefit programs, including medical, dental, vacation, disability, life insurance, and more;
  • Implement all HR policies, procedures, and programs;
  • Prepare month-end reports;
  • Promote good labor/employee relations;
  • Ensure compliance with local rules and regulations;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Requirements




  • Ability to maintain confidential information;
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to work effectively with employees and management;
  • Proficiency in computer applications;
  • Degree in Business or Human Resources Management or equivalent experience;
  • Willingness to travel when necessary.
