Purchase Order Processor

Are you ready to make your next career move to join our team as a Purchase Order Processor?
The principal purpose of this role is to support the purchasing process including preparation of Purchase Orders, sourcing materials and delivery on schedule. You will also be responsible for ensuring timely response to front-line requisition requirements and identifying material and service cost savings opportunities.
**Education**:
- Degree/Diploma in Professional Procurement or equivalent college/technical school is preferred.
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum one-year related office experience ideally within parts ordering or purchase order creation.- Negotiation and vendor management experience- Excellent skills with PC operations and software including Windows, Microsoft Office/Excel (which includes word processing, spreadsheets and database)- One year experience using an ERP software (preferably SAP).- Technical ability to understand material and/or mechanical specifications in order to source required materials.- Strong organizational and time management skills.
