We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Manager in the GTA to join our dynamic sales team. As a Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales, maintaining existing client relationships and upselling to existing clients to of our cutting-edge SaaS software solutions within the proptech industry. Your primary focus will be on conducting virtual and in-person demonstrations, creating proposals, and closing deals. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with innovative technology and make a significant impact on the growth of our company.
**Responsibilities**:
Aligning to 1VALET’s sales strategy, develop and execute a sales plan in conjunction with the strategic account’s leadership to achieve revenue targets within your assigned region.
- Create an annual forecast for revenue generation, creating a plan for revenue discrepancies to hit 1VALETs annual revenue targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers with strategic partners.
- Manage inside sales function, including but not limited to: upselling existing customers on newly launched features and features not currently in their portfolio, renewals of existing customers, and expanding building portfolio within existing customers.
- Ability to sell multiple SKUs, which includes but is not limited to: 1VALET full solution (Resident App and applicable hardware), App only, partnership sales, and Smart Community bundles.
- Research and analyze market trends, competition, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and adjust sales approach accordingly.
- Accountable for ensuring customer renewals
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics of partnerships and customers.
- Provide regular reports on upselling, renewals and feature usage.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer information in the CRM system (HubSpot).
- Understand the customer's business objectives and provide consultative guidance on how our software can help achieve their goals.
Product Demonstrations and Presentations:
- Conduct compelling virtual and in-person software demonstrations to potential customers, effectively showcasing the features, functionality, and value proposition of our SaaS software.
- Tailor presentations to address specific customer pain points and demonstrate how our solution can meet their unique business needs.
- Communicate product updates, enhancements, and new features to existing and prospective customers.
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide accurate information, addressing concerns and objections to facilitate the negotiation process.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing.
Qualifications:
- 5+ Years of sales experience.
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field (preferred).
- Proven track record of success in B2B software sales, preferably in the SaaS industry.
- Experience selling into the MDU, Multifamily sector is highly desirable.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct engaging virtual and in-person product demonstrations.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a results-driven mindset.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to travel as needed for in-person meetings and industry events, tradeshows, client meetings, etc. (Valid Passport and ability to travel internationally).
- Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation.
