**Summary of Responsibilities**

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**
- Lead the dealer value proposition; meeting and exceeding established service levels.
- Lead and coach the retail credit team and funding team being supportive of Yamaha Finance and OEM business objectives. Responsible for creating a work environment whereby all team members are engaged and empowered to act in a dealer centric manner.
- Support and help drive new product, process and people related initiatives on behalf of YMFCA.
- Deliver an excellent dealer and consumer experience, improve client satisfaction, and resolve any/all complaints.
- Provide insight to Risk Management & Director of Operations of instances where policies need further review.

**Education Requirements and/or Experience Requirements**
- **Degree/Diploma**:University Degree, advanced degree preferred
- **Program of Study**:Quantitative Field, Business or related discipline preferred
- **Type and Years of Experience**:10+ years: Retail and Lease lending and contract discounting, 5+ years: Management role of Credit and Funding Lending

**Skills & Abilities**
- Deep understanding of consumer, business credit products and lending services for all types of credit profiles ranging from prime to non-prime, commercial & leasing.
- Established understanding of contract discounting, contract auditing and proceeds issuance.
- Solid understanding of the Captive Financing space either in Powersports, or Automobile related fields.
- Solid knowledge of Canadian credit decisioning systems, economic business/financial trends in the retail credit industry.
- Bilingualism preferred (English/French).
- Knowledge of automotive specific underwriting platforms is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and possesses a natural curiosity are important personal attributes to be successful in this role.
- Initiative and accountability are important to thrive in this entrepreneurial environment.
- Strong people leadership skills. Inclusive personality.
- A strong team player who will contribute to the culture of the organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products.
- Experienced in developing and delivering executive-level power point presentations.
- Work from the Toronto office a minimum of 3 days per week - Tuesday through Thursday
- Ability to travel across Canada to support remote employees & other business initiatives as they arise
