The Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets.

**Role Summary**:

- The Human Resources Generalist assist to _a_dminister Magna Benefits program including accurate maintenance of hard copy and electronic records (PeopleSoft/PSS). Submit monthly benefit billings. Process status changes to PeopleSoft/Payroll. The Human Resources Generalist is also responsible for p_reparing annual EEPPP documentation for head office and Group Life claims.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure all recruitment procedures are followed according to our MAFACT audit requirements
- Keep record of and maintain Performance Appraisals for all hourly, salary and Managerial employees.
- Provide Performance Appraisal reports and graphs on a monthly basis.
- Maintain C-TPAT documentation (ie. Master Key list, Parking Passes).
- Maintaining Archives/Record Retention and Control of Documents for the HR Department.
- Prepare monthly KOI and MOPS HR data for presentation.
- Responsible for maintaining all employee contracts for temporary/full time associates.
- Maintain Document Control for Engineering Drawings and Math data.
- Maintain AODA tracking spreadsheets and input training.
- Generate Human Resources correspondence for employees as required.
- Support Health and Safety with the Occupational (WSIB) Return to Work Program
- Act as a backup for managing disability files for Short Term/Long Term Disability through Sunlife.
- Act as a backup for communicating to third party recruiters for temporary associates’ vacancies
- Act as a backup for filling temporary associate job orders for all five facilities.
- Assist HR Manager with HR special projects, HR Policies and procedures.
- Maintain positive employee relations. Respond promptly to employee concerns and resolve issues.

- Provide prompt, courteous, and efficient services to employees
- Reference the Employee Family and Assistance Plan when and where required for employees
- Promote and encourage the Open Door Process & the principles of the Magna Employee’s Charter.
- Conduct regular walk-throughs in the plant to ensure open and honest communication and foster good employee relations.
- Prepare DPSP and RRSP withdrawals and transfers to employees.
- Assist employees with any benefit related paperwork, issues or questions.
- Assist in coordinate Company functions (ie. Summer BBQ/Christmas Party).
- Comply with Section 28 of the OHSA.
- Comply with all Magna Code of Conduct and Ethics policies and procedures.
- Comply with all Rollstamp’s Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Comply with all Rollstamp IATF 16949 policies and procedures.
- Comply with all Rollstamp ISO14001 policies and procedures.
- Adhere to all rules and regulations as outlined in the Rollstamp Employee Handbook.
- Adhere to all applicable Business Operating Systems Procedures.
- Any other reasonable request made by Management.

**Key Qualifications/Requirements**:
**Educational Requirements**: Post-secondary education in a related area. CHRP or CHRL designation preferred or working towards.

**Minimum Experience/Field**:7+ years Human Resources experience required, preferably in the automotive industry.***

**Computer Skills**:Computer proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CAQ, PeopleSoft.

**Additional Certificates/Diplomas**:Human Resources Diploma/Degree

**Communication Skills**:

- Must be fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated excellent skills in employee relations.***

**Additional Education/Experience/Skills**:

- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced team environment with minimum supervision.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality and integrity at all times.
- Sound knowledge of applicable Legislation, such as Employment Standards Act.
- Excellent problem solving, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of the Employee’s Charter.
