Job Overview:
**Duties**:

- Manage electronic medical records (EMR) system, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain the office calendar
- Greet patients and visitors, providing excellent customer service
- Assist healthcare professionals with administrative tasks, such as preparing patient charts and documentation
- Handle billing and insurance claims, including verifying patient insurance coverage
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as needed
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and order new supplies when necessary
- Ensure compliance with privacy regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Managing referrals to our on-site specialists and from our family doctors
- Scheduling and payroll for staff
- Assistance with rooming patients, checking vitals, taking a history
- Ensuring the smooth functioning of the clinic

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working in a medical office or dental office is required
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems (Telus PSS)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of budgeting processes for medical offices is a plus
- Experience supervising or managing staff
- Detail oriented a must.

We offer competitive compensation based on experience.

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
