**ROLE IMPACT**:
This is a meaningful role where you can make a difference every day for people living with inflammatory bowel diseases (IDB). You will achieve impact by:

- Delivering education and programing that directly supports and benefits those affected by inflammatory bowel disease (IBD);
- Bridging the information gap between those impacted by IBD and the latest information on related research and policies;
- Inspiring others to support our cause by increasing public awareness of the realities of living with IBD;
- Providing first line support to patients and families and directing them to available resources and support.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Completion of a post-secondary degree and/or equivalent experience in health sciences, psychology, education, social work, nursing, or other related discipline;
- 3+ years of experience in developing and delivering education programs, training programs or support services for internal and/or external audiences; Non-profit experience an asset;
- Excellent time management skills; ability to coordinate various activities within tight deadlines and handle multiple, high priority items at the same time;
- Proficiency in conducting program evaluation, including surveying, data collection, reviewing participant feedback and conducting analysis;
- Knowledge of virtual event platforms and video conferencing or webinar technology (e.g., Zoom) with hands on experience managing virtual or hybrid experience a plus;
- Excellent relationship building ability and strong communication skills; able to adapt communication style for various audiences;
- Highly organized, detail oriented with strong analytical skill; able to work independently;
- Ability to travel within areas of responsibility on occasions; possess valid driver’s license and access to vehicle; and
- Open to flexible hours with evenings and the occasional weekend events.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Plan and oversee the logistics, promotion, and delivery of activities that provide education, peer-to-peer and professional support, and other patient program initiatives within the assigned region of Ontario, Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
- Work closely with the Manager, Patient Programs to assess and develop the annual program plan as well as identifying needs and opportunities to meet the concerns of the target audience;
- Conduct surveys, review program feedback, consult key stakeholders to track program engagement and evaluate impact;
- Monitor and report program revenue and costs to ensure balanced budgets and to analyze program performance
- Support the Volunteer Engagement and Patient Programs Teams to recruit, train, support, and motivate a diverse group of volunteers that lead regional patient programs; and
- Increase awareness about Crohn’s and Colitis Canada through educational content and informative resources.
