Our Enterprise and Solution Architecture team is currently undergoing an exciting transformation, developing new processes, and establishing the architecture blueprints that will support successful delivery of projects across the organization and into the future.

We’re looking for an IT Technical Advisor to join our growing team

**What you'll do here**:

- Act as a technical consultant to users, analyze needs, work on reference tools and proceed with the recommended implementation approach of processes and tools needed for the proper functioning and integrity of technological operations.
- Map novel services, APIs and Microservices against products, business actors and capabilities in a tool
- Capturing details of technical debt for past as well as on-going projects.
- Work with an architecture tools vendor to coordinate the availability and usage of features for the team
- Work with the architecture review board process to govern changes being made to architecturally significant information
- Work with various non-architecture stakeholders to help their adoption and use of the tool.
- Participate in the production of monthly analytics (KPIs) and status reports. Collect and analyse data relating to the performance of various processes.
- Under general direction, plan, install, configure and upgrade software components by following company standards to enable optimal use of computer tools.
- Build and maintain excellent interdepartmental collaborative working relationships.
- Support Intact’s operations optimization strategy by recommending and promoting self-service activities and migrating event management as close as possible to end users.
- Contribute to end-user reference manuals by documenting processes to improve the efficiency of actions and transfer knowledge.
- Assist in the training and transfer of knowledge or specialized skills to other team members when required.
- Embrace change, support vision, direction and collaboration with team members.
- Assist Senior Technicians with a variety of tasks (ordering, onboarding, projects, workflow management, etc.) as needed.
- Travel to and work from the various Intact locations as required.

**What you bring to the table**:

- 5-10 years of experience with configuration, process mapping and expert knowledge of technologies that support the infrastructure.
- Able to communicate to all levels (analyst to C-Suite) in a clear, accurate manner and distill information into simple terms when required.
- At least five years of experience in process mapping and future state planning.
- Superior communication skills, preferably in both official languages, and strong ability in negotiation and influencing skills.
- Ability to manage time, scope and costs aligned with project management principles..
- Ability to work with large amounts of data
- Data analysis, tracking of individual line items with various stakeholders for clarification, review and closure
- Good writing and spoken communication skills
- Excellent listening skills, and ability to follow through on established action plans.
- Strong data literacy and experience with collecting and interpreting data.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills including tact, diplomacy, discretion and good judgment.
- A “self-starter” who anticipates and identifies problems/deficiencies and actively seeks solutions.
