The Project Controller will be responsible on multiple congruent projects monitoring cost control, document control, schedule control, administration, procurement and customer interface. The Position will assist the Project Managers during the full life cycle of projects from initiation to closeout, ensuring that projects are completed on time, on budget and delivered to the highest quality. Works closely with Development, Construction, Consultants, and Operations to monitor and manage quality and compliance throughout all project phases. Uses highly developed oral and written communication skills and proven organizational expertise to work with all stakeholders to achieve project completion for timely occupancy and successful opening.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Monitor and update project budgets to ensure within approved budgets and current status aligns with the project deliverables
- Ensures contractual procurement obligations by project are adhered to and maintains and monitors PO support
- Reviews incoming invoices and ensures continuity with Contractual and internal obligations
- Audit project progression to ensure accurate billing aligns. Maintains an invoice tracking system and ensures alignment with contractual agreements prior to invoice processing.
- Responsibilities include project administration, documentation and change management.
- Contract interpretation on multiple agreements
- Manage multiple projects congruently keeping Project teams and Management current to project financial status by updating and keeping current internal progress reporting systems.
- Reconciliation project ongoing financial status and to facilitate project closeout.
- Acts as key contributor within the project team tasked with delivering major projects on time, on budget and scope/quality.
- Establishes a Project Plan for each approved project; establishes and delivers mechanisms for tracking and reporting to stakeholders via a formal communications plan.
- Supports in project short-lists, negotiations and selection of project consultants and Construction Managers including, but not limited to Architects, Interior Designers, Landscape Architects, Food & Beverage Consultants, Signage, Audio Visual Consultants and Procurement Agents for all projects through a competitive RFP process.
- Ensures financial contractual obligations during project delivery.
- Supports coordination for the preparation, submission, tracking and securing of permits for assigned projects.
- Coordinates the tender/bidding program, reviews and provides recommendations to the Project Managers and Vice President on all bid summaries.
- Assists in the selection and management of any required sub-trades for the projects and manages external contractors and/or trades.
- Reviewing the submitted tenders by the trades and presenting them for approvals
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with vendors, government authorities and other project stakeholders.
- Coordinates the total construction effort to ensure projects are proceeding in accordance with design, budget and schedule.
- Construction project progress reporting.
- Reviews and comments on construction related documentation such as (purchase orders, change requests, Requests for Information (RFI’s), Site Instructions (SI’s), Change Order Requests (COR’s)., and Change Orders (CO’s), Invoices) in collaboration with the project manager and consultants.
- Tracks and monitors daily all project costs to ensure project is within budget.
- Tracks and monitors progress of each project against base-line schedule.
- Identify all owner supplied items including, but not limited to FF&E, signage, IT, surveillance and kitchen equipment, etc.
- Creates and maintains updated procurement logs for all owner supplied items.
- Closely monitoring the procurement schedule for the timely delivery of the owner supply items on site.
- Attends weekly meetings to discuss the procurement progress with the respective departments.
- Conducts project reviews and debriefs in order to identify areas for improvement; makes recommendations based on findings. Creates “Lessons Learned” documentation at the end of each project.
- On site review and possibly on site supervision of contractual Consultants and Construction managers
- Other duties as required

**What You Bring**
- Accounting Project Management accreditation.
- +5 years of related project management, budgetary control, and construction experience.
- Experience working on multiple projects ($1Mil - $20Mil) simultaneously from initiation to closeout.
- Experience working on commercial projects (Hotels, Restaurants and/or Casinos) is an asset
