Welcome to Westdell Development Corp., a Canadian retail commercial and residential development and management company with a growing portfolio of 40+ retail properties and 15+ residential and mixed-use commercial-residential projects under development. The Company is supported by in-house asset & property management, financial, accounting, leasing, and development teams.

The Project Coordinator will be working closely with the Project Manager, involved in the day-to-day operations of the assigned projects, helping to organize and communicate details related to a specific assignment or tasks while serving as an interface between projects’ stakeholders, maintaining project documentation, schedules, and handling financial queries, and able to be involved in multiple projects simultaneously to help them stay on schedule and within budget.

**Below are some of the primary responsibilities you will be taking on in this role**:

- Maintain projects’ documentation, updates, and create reports.
- Coordinate project management activities, and communicate with stake holders (e.g., Consultants, Contractors, Authorities, Utilities, Tenants).
- Assist with schedules, strategies, risks, and opportunities analysis.
- Work with the Project Manager to monitor projects progress, resolve issues, and eliminate blockers
- Perform Administrative tasks and prepare paperwork (e.g., RFPs, contracts, and terms of agreement)
- Ensure standards and requirements are met through the design and construction phases.
- Conduct research and obtain cost data.
- Assist in data analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and cost comparisons.
- Review of construction documents and specifications including change notices.
- Obtain offers and quotes by subcontractors and vendors.
- Create and follow up on punch lists, and projects closing documents.
- Perform tasks related to Property management, maintenance, enhancement projects, and prepare reports for CAM expenses.

**Education and Qualifications**:

- 2-4 years of construction experience working as a Project Coordinator or similar role.
- Degree in Construction / Project Management or related field

**Skills and Experience**:

- Ability to read and understand construction Drawings.
- Ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules, and action plans
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, Word, Excel, Google Apps.
- Firsthand experience with project management tools.
- Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously, define priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Understanding the project and its requirements and variables that influence costs.
- Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
- Strong coordination and teamwork skills
- Deadline oriented with a strong drive to get the job done.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Energetic, adaptive, and creative thinker.

Compensation commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
