Ufs Client Service Administrator

**THE POSITION**
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Support a progressive team in delivering prevention interventions, programs and resources to children, youth and families.
- Reception; create a welcoming environment by greeting visitors, answering phone calls, sending/receiving confidential client information, and directing calls to other staff as needed.
- Refer; directing clients to alternative outside agencies/services as needed; provide crisis intervention, support, and resource referrals as required.
- Organize, track and input program intakes, referrals, and evaluations into database; maintain client management system.
- Complete filing, photocopying, mailings, printing, faxing, scanning, laminating, development of brochures and handout, and other administrative tasks as requested by UFS staff.
- Maintain client intake files, folders, and standard operating procedures up to date and organized.
- Compile and prepare reports relating to statistical and demographic tracking on a monthly basis.
- Monitor and maintain office security system by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
- Provides information on and referral to other community service providers, resources and professionals as required.
- Work collaboratively, demonstrate professional presence, maintain effective working relationships with diverse staff and clientele.
- Adhere to security and confidentiality while maintaining file system of clientele.
**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant human services discipline.
- Minimum 2 years in administration, customer service, and client relations experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Proficiency with word-processing and database entry, with emphasis in advanced excel skills.
- Current in First Aid and CPR.
**KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES**
- Demonstrated working knowledge of community-based programs and related provincial and community support programs.
- Empathetic and understanding approach to client interactions.
- Well-developed intake, referral, crisis assessment, intervention and brief support skills.
- Knowledge of a broad range of mental health, addiction and concurrent issues.
- Demonstrated ability to be confident, calm, and able to manage difficult and highly sensitive conversations.
- Knowledgeable and respective of cultural diversifications.
- Knowledgeable in Indigenous cultures, practices; holistic models of health and wellness.
- Proven ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to thrive in high stress environments; works well under pressure in a team environment and also independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to do heavy work including transferring program materials up to 25 lbs.
***OTHER CONDITIONS**
- Must possess a valid Saskatchewan driver’s license, a reliable vehicle and meet STC’s insurance requirements.
- Must provide a current, original, Canadian Criminal Record Check (CPIC) with vulnerable sector search as a condition of employment.
- Flexible to work after business hours.
