**Position Summary**

The Human Resources Assistant will support the U.S. Human Resources Department on all U.S. HR-related functions in compliance with all applicable labor laws, health plans, and benefits standards.

As part of the HR Team, the HR Assistant would be involved in all HR-related tasks including employment verification, maintaining employee profiles, personnel files, new hire documentation, benefits administration, and other administrative duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 1-year experience in Human Resources or Customer Service
- Demonstrated judgment, tact, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive personnel information in a confidential and professional manner.
- Highly organized, accurate, and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a desire to work within a collaborative environment as well as with cross-functional teams.
- Customer service oriented
- Proficient computer skills and experience with a variety of software packages including but not limited to Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong communication skills, and proficiency in English and Cantonese. Native speaking Mandarin will be an asset.
- Eligible to work in Canada
