The Web Modernization Team is seeking a Web Publisher at a REG4 level until January 2026 to support web publishing, modernization initiatives, and ensure adherence to Government of Canada standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects using modern frameworks and tools in a collaborative environment.

**Essential Qualifications**:
**Education**: A university degree or college diploma in web development, computer science, web design, digital communications, or communications; or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and job knowledge.

**Language Requirements**: English essential

**Experience in**:

- Providing recommendations and guidance on web publishing needs
- Coding and publishing web pages in HTML following Treasury Board of Canada standards, and performing accessibility checks and corrections to meet W3C standards
- Converting PDFs and alternate formats into accessible HTML

Some or all of the following:

- GC web development
- Microsoft Azure DevOps (repos, artifacts, pipelines, boards, etc.)
- Microsoft Visual Studio 2022
- Microsoft Visual Studio Code
- Adobe Forms Manager, Adobe DreamweaverWeb Experience Toolkit (WET) - GCWeb/Canada.ca
- Gatsby, React.js
- XML, JSON
- HTML, CSS
- PowerShell, Javascript
- APIs

**Knowledge of**:

- Project Management practices

**Ability to**:

- Track and report on project deliverables and progress, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met
- Provide recommendations and guidance on publishing needs in consultation with the Technical Team Lead and Senior Web Communications Advisor

**Asset Qualification**:

- Content Management Systems: Experience with publishing or developing in content management systems such as the Canada.ca Managed Web Service (MWS), Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Drupal, etc.
- Developer experience (developing templates, Gatsby and/or React.js languages and frameworks, XML and/or JSON data constructs)
