YOUR ROLE

Well, you may be the Air Product Head for Canada we’re looking for Your mission will be to help advance and execute the overall Air and CEVA strategy to achieve sustainable profitable growth within Canada. Formal leadership duties that include multiple teams and groups and serve as a lead to peers or other roles on a formal or informal basis within the country. s. Models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Business Development support and guidance - Align country Air Product objectives with the local BD sales objectives. Act as the Product knowledge centre on country level and passing on market intelligence to Airfreight Europe. Responsible for LLA/SME sales leads on country level, support field sales in customer visits
Product Management - Execute Product Strategy on country level (i.e. target KPIs). Ensures that routings as per routing guide are adhered by all stations in the country
Procurement - Negotiate rates for business handed over to carriers at country level (agreed direct business1).

Manage bookings as well as the local relationship with carriers. Shares carrier market intelligence with AF Europe Procurement. Responsible for procurement of local trucking and ground handling procurement
Pricing and tenders -Setting the selling rates for direct business1 (non GTW business). Responsible for quotes below the thresholds defined. Shares market intelligence on market (selling) price levels with Air Regional Pricing team

Offer development - Escalate market needs and trends to central product teams
BI & Ops excellence - Manage Country ops within country and station teams. 1st escalation level for ops staff and stations outside the country. Monitors ops performance (KPI dashboard) and implements corrective actions to achieve targets. Coordinates with Air regional leader in order to ensure the means required to achieve the targets.
Intra-CEVA coordination - First level of coordination and escalation in regards to all country Airfreight matters within the country as well as with other countries/regions
Developing and managing Air product and supply chain or cross-functional project or program objectives, which includes proposed budgets, timelines, materials, personnel, and other project requirements, receives direction and presents information to management; may develop and manage areas that are moderate in scope or impact
Supervising execution of all internal and external agents such as freight forwarders, customer brokers, third parties and the client in order to meet the delivery according to customer needs and business requirements.
Performs other duties assigned

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Minimum seven to ten years related Industry experience.

Minimum five years supervisory or management experience.

Bachelor's Degree in Transportation, Logistics or Supply Chain Management preferred or an equivalent combination of work experience.

**Travel**: Travel is required up to 40% of the time and is within the U.S.
