Rehabilitation Assistant

Lower Mainland, Canada Access Community Therapists Ltd. Full time

Access Community Therapists currently has an opportunity for a temporary full-time sub-contracted Rehabilitation Worker. We are an established community-based company providing services to adults in the Lower Mainland. We have a skilled, enthusiastic team and provide opportunities for clinical growth through mentoring and continuing education. Competitive pay rate including travel.

The successful applicant will work with adults returning to both function and work following physical or psychological injuries, in community settings, and under the direction of experienced Occupational or Physical Therapists. The location of this caseload is across the Lower Mainland in homes and community settings. This position is starting ideally as of July 2, 2024, and ending in late December 2024.

**Requirements**:

- Certification from a Rehabilitation Assistant Program or equivalent, such as a Bachelor of Kinesiology, and/or a minimum of one-year related experience under the supervision of a health care professional.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Must have a vehicle and Current BC Drivers License
- Community experience is a strong asset
- Second language is an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $32.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 2024-07-02
